In 2005, our Founder and Creative Director, Karen Bonhomme had a vision to create an agency that would make an impact in Kingston. Her goal was to help businesses enhance their marketing effectiveness by developing meaningful brands with a strategic design. But this vision needed a foundation.
And we’ve stayed true to these commitments.
By following this mantra, one client quickly grew to two, which in-turn, quickly grew to many more. 18 years later, we continue to build our client-base through the power of good work and the customers who refer us.
By carrying through those core values and living them everyday, 1dea has grown into a thriving agency it is today. We continue to provide our clients with meaningful, quality and well-planned creative solutions that leverage the best of its brand and goals for growth.
To describe us, we’re simply a close-knit team of individuals who truly care about each other and the work we do. And we work extremely hard to make exceptional work happen. Our synergy and wonderful working relationship is strong because we each bring different skill-sets to the table.
Everyone on our team has dedicated their entire career to crafting their skill, adapting to change and to pushing the limits of their discipline. Every designer, developer, marketer and copywriter on our team employs significant experience in their trade and is very supportive of our philosophy to do meaningful and great work; that helps our clients achieve success.
As a company, we’re continually proud of the work we do, but that doesn’t stop us from wanting to be better, to learn more and to discover new tricks. Do we make it easy on ourselves? Not a chance. We’re our biggest critics. But in the end we know we’ve exhausted ourselves to come up with that one great idea that sets the stage for growth. We hope you feel the same.
