Case Study
Transitioning into a newly built hospital meant Providence’s brand consistency and communication needed to be much more refined and clear.
Providence Care is Southeastern Ontario’s leading provider of Aging, Mental Health and Rehabilitative Care and is a centre for health care, education and research.
Over the 3-year hospital transition plan, 1dea did a complete overhaul of the Providence Care Hospital’s visual brand identity which allowed them to much more
effectively communicate with staff, patients, government and the entire community.
...so here’s what we didTo-date, 1dea has completed 75+ projects alongside the Communication Department. Great progress has been made to ensure marketing materials now have a consistent and compelling presence. The 1dea team has been agile and ready to deliver under tight timelines to the ongoing needs of this major rebranding initiative.
Providence Care is a large organization with many varied services, they needed website with extensive resources that would ensure a positive user experience and easy-to-follow information architecture. The site needed to be designed to accessibility standards, be fully responsive, and allow for a fully editable CMS system to ensure staff could maintain this robust site.
The refined brand presence for Providence Care has been well received within the community. With more overall clarity in the brand, clients and the community are more aware of all the great thing Providence Care has to offer. In addition, there is now a synergy between the brand presence and the highly capable and state-of-the-art capacities Providence Care has to offer. With a large part of the redevelopment complete, 1dea will continue to support the Communications Department in a day-to-day capacity.
