Yes, I want to get in touchContact UsIn preparation for the public announcement, re-zoning approval and City of Kingston planning committee meeting, Siderius Developments Ltd. approached 1dea about the creation of a logo, brand identity and information-based website to manage PR for Union Park Kingston.
The Union Park proposal is a significant redevelopment of the former Prison for Women property and includes residential condominium units, a park (West Yard), a hotel for short-term and extended stays, a senior’s retirement residence, a public art wall, and a healing garden in collaboration with the P4W Memorial Collective.
The Union Park visual identity required a level of authority and elegance. The creative focussed on making a logo design with refined typography and a minimal but grabbing colour palette.

The Union Park Kingston website needed to be a tool that allows them to manage public engagement and offer a portal for the public to visit to get more information on the progress of the development and planning approval and public consultation process. The website needed to be built quickly and efficiently with a lead time of just over 1 month.
